He started poker career at a very young stage. Vincent’s father is a very good poker player who taught the poker player to play poker and to read the racing form, and all these were taught at the age of 9. Vincent was very fond of the poker game and thus quickly adapted to the game. He used to play poker and other games at the school and recess. The games that he usually used to play were 3-Card Monte, coin pitching, and other similar games. At the age of 12, the player used to stay in Long Island, New York where he used to sneak into Belmont Racetrack after school and asked the adults to make $2 bets for him. He was attracted to the game when he saw the players (grownups) berating each other over a game. After few years i.e. at the age of 15, he was allowed to join the group. During that period, 5-Card Draw was the game played. He used to disguise with a fake moustache and beard in order to play the game.
