Ace-High:
An Ace-High is a term used for the five-card hand that has no pair, but consists of an ace. If nobody has at least a pair then this hand is considered to be the winning hand.
Ace-to-Five Lowball:
In a low poker game, ace-to-five means straights and flushes are not taken into account. Here, the ace can be used as a low card. This often is called as a wheel. Ace-to-Five and Ace-to-Five Lowball are one and the same.
Ace pots:
Ace pots is a kind of high poker game. Here, the player who does not hold at least two aces as openers cannot open the pot.
Aces and spaces:
Aces and spaces is a form of hand where the player holds two aces and three other cards that have no value.
Aces Full:
Aces full is a full house, but with three aces and any kind of pair.
Aces Over:
When a two-pair hand has a pair of aces or when a full house has a pair full of aces then it is termed as Aces Over.
Aces up:
In the two-pair hand where one of the card’s face value is Ace then it is called as Aces up.
Acey-Deucey:
A two pair hand that consists of aces and deuces (twos) or in Texas Hold’em if the player gets A-2 as his first two cards it is called as Acey-Deucey.
Acey-Uppy:
Pair hand where one of the pairs is ace is called as Acey-Uppy. This term is similar to Ace Up.
Aces-wired:
When a player receives two aces as hole cards then it is called as Aces-wired. There are other common terms for this such as bullets, American Airlines, and Eyes of Texas.
