Baby:
Any of the four non-aces cards used to make the lowest possible hand is called Baby.
Backdoor:
In any of the poker games like 7-Card Stud, Texas Hold’em, or Omaha if the player makes a hand using the last two cards. It is termed as Backdoor.
Backdoor Flush:
If a player has three cards that would support a flush, but has to wait for turn and river to make a flush then this is termed as Backdoor Flush.
Backdoor Straight:
Backdoor Straight is similar to Backdoor Flush, but here the player will have three cards that would support a straight and have to wait for turn and river to make a straight.
Backer:
A Backer is one (non player) who finances for an active player.
Back in:
Winning unexpectedly or by default is called as Back in.
Back Into a Hand:
Drawing cards to make a hand that is different from the hand that the player was originally trying to make this act is termed as Back into a Hand.
Back raise:
Back raise is an act where the player who originally called makes a minimum re-raise in order to avoid a larger raise.
Back-to-Back:
In 7-Card Stud, 5-Card Stud, and Texas Hold’em poker games, if the player has his first two cards as a pair then it is called as Back-to-Back.
Bad Beat:
When a player loses the pot, but holds a hand favorable to win is called as Bad Beat.
Bad Beat Jackpot:
Poker rooms offer Bad Beat Jackpot to the player who has a very good hand and yet loses to the player who has hand that is even better one. For example, if a player has a four of a kind kings, but yet loses to the player who holds a four of a kind aces hand.
