Dame:

A queen is called Dame.

Dark Bet:

Dark Bet is an act where the player bets before looking at his hand.

Darken:

Darken is where a player makes a bet without looking at his cards. This kind of bet is required in some forms of poker.

Daub:

The methods used by cheaters for making cards are called as Cosmetics. Ashes, waxes, abrasives, aniline pencils and luminous inks are some examples of Cosmetics. This is also known as daub.

Dead Cards:

Cards that are folded or discarded are called as Dead Cards.

Dead Collection Blind:

Dead Collection Blind is a fee posted by the player who is having the dealer button. This fee is used in some games as an alternative method of seat rental.

Dead Hand:

Dead Hand is a foul hand that cannot be played by any player.

Dead Man’s Hand:

Ace-Eight (A8), which is usually starting hand of Texas Hold’em or a two pair of aces and eights is called a Dead Man’s Hand.

Deadwood:

Cards that are folded or discarded are called as Deadwood.

Dead Money:

Dead Money is the amount that is wagered into the pot by the players who have folded before the showdown.

Deal:

Distribution of cards to the players is called Deal.
