Pay Station:

Pay Station is the term used for a player who rarely folds and frequently calls better hand and loses.

Peek Poker:

Seven-Card Stud is the most commonly played game and probably the most well known card game. Here each player is dealt with seven cards where two down cards, four up cards, and a final card down. After the first up card, there is a round of betting and in a similar way after each subsequent card is dealt.

Peeker or Peeper:

Peeker or Peeper is a player especially a cheater who looks at an active player’s hand or a cheater who peeks at cards that are yet to be dealt.

Peep and Turn:

Peg:

Peg is to mark the front of cards with a pin, pushpin, ring, etc in a way to make an indentation and the thief making such marks can later tell by feel the ranks of the cards. This is opposite to nailing, which puts marks on the edges. This is pricked on the backs of the cards.

Pegging:

Pegging is a cheater’s technique to mark cards. These marks are done with finger nails or device.

Pelter:

Pelter is a five card hand that is formed with a two, five, nine, and one card being either three or four and the other card a six, seven, or an eight. This hand is also referred as skeet.

Penny Ante:

A very low stakes game is referred as Penny Ante.

Penultimate Card:

Penultimate Card is a second to last card in the deck.

Percentage:

A house cut or probabilities are known as Percentage.
