Sandbag:

Playing a hand slow and waiting until later in the hand and show the strength by betting or raising is termed as Sandbag. It is also called as Sandbagging.

Sanding:

Sanding is a method of making cards by sanding the edges or ends of the cards.

Santa Barbara:

In Texas Hold’em, when a player receives A-K as his first two cards then it is termed as Santa Barbara.

Satellite:

Satellite is a term used for a mini-tournament to gain an entry into a larger tournament.

Sawbuck:

Ten dollars is also called as Sawbuck.

Scare Card:

Scare Card is a card that appears in the flop, making a better hand into trash.

Scarne Cut:

Cutting the cards by taking them from the center and placing them again on the top of the deck is termed as Scarne Cut.

Schenck’s Rules is the first published rules of poker that was printed in England in 1872.

Schoolbag Draw:

Schoolbag Draw is an unsound and inexpedient draw.

Schoolboy Draw:

An unsound draw is called as a Schoolboy Draw.

Scoop:

Winning of the entire pot is termed as Scoop.
