Celebrity Poker Showdown can also be counted on as one of the popular poker television shows. It has a good number of audiences glued to the TV sets to see their favorite celebrity poker players playing the game. In this show, every episode features five celebrities competing against each other for a piece of the prize pool in a game of No Limit Texas Hold’em poker. Each week a new group of stars will take to the table to challenge their peers. The winner of each week’s game will go on to compete in the championship episode. Poker Royale  program : on GSN channel

Poker Royale is considered to be the first tournament ever organized by the World Poker Player Association (WPPA). It is an event that seats many top poker players and amateurs alike. This event is organized by the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The catch shows like World Series of Black jack and Poker Royale is being aired on the channel for all the poker players and non-players too.

The Poker royale show consists of series played between three pros and three players. In the series finale, three biggest game point leaders take the top seats and compete for the $50,000 Grand Prize. There are different forms of shows in this poker royale such as young blood, battle of the ages, the WPPA championship and many others with varied schedule timings.

Poker Superstars II on Fox Sports

Fox Sports channel has launched a wonderful idea of promoting the poker game through the tournament called Poker Superstars. This tournament consists of 16 top players in the world who will be competing for cash prize. The Poker Superstars II is the second sequel that is quite similar to the first one.
