American Poker Invitational

This API of July Leaderboard Championship was held on August 19, 2006, at Mazzy's in Marietta. Satellite event and main even went successfully. There had been a good feedback from the players and people for July's Open. Here also the members of the event participated in the Open Satellite competition. There again the top 30 players from the open event were selected for the main event at 5:00 pm. The 150 Main Event players competed to win a trip to Las Vegas. It included a trip to Las Vegas without charging airfare or hotel accommodations for 4 days or 3 nights as well as the buy-in of 2007 World Series of Poker Event. 8 players went to the final.

The 2nd Tournament of Champions of American Poker Invitational was held on August 13, 2006. That is also known as the API Quarterly / June Leaderboard Championship. Here the leaders or the top point earners were selected from (April–June) 2006 leaderboard. They were from metro Atlanta .The winner won a trip to Las Vegas for two, in addition to that a seat into the World Series of Poker Event in 2007. There were 8 players at the final table.  The champion won the trophy and a trip to Las Vegas without airfare charge for two people with hotel accommodations for 5 days / 4 nights and also an entry to the event buy-in worth $1060 at the 2007 World Series of Poker in July 2007.
