Gold Rush Tournament is one of the very popular tournaments of USA. It was started in the year 1994. It is an annual event, which is played in the month of November. Gold Rush Tournament includes mostly No-Limit Holdem and Spread-Limit Holdem games. The popularity of the tournament has been increasing considerably with the prize pool getting bigger by each year. Gold Rush Tournament is held at Lucky Chances and Merrion Casino Club, which is one of the better casinos in the USA.

Gold Rush Tournament is going to be held from November 6th to 12th (2006)

It will go on for 7 days. Event will include No-Limit Hold’em and Spread-Limit Hold’em in its schedule. The buy will range from $0 to $1,000 with the entry of the championship event being $1,000. This one promises to be bigger event with a bigger turnout and a bigger prize pool.

Gold Rush Tournament (2005)

2005 Gold Rush Tournament was played from November 5th  to November 13th. As expected, it turned out to be a remarkable event. The entry to the championship event was $1,000 and the prize pool of the championship event was $160,000. The winner of the tournament was Ky Van Huynh from San Francisco. He took home an amount of $56,000 in the championship event, which had 160 entries.

2004 Gold Rush Tournament was played from November 6th to November 14th .The event included No-Limit Hold, Limit Holdem, and Limit Omaha games. The buy-in ranged from $49 to $1,000. The prize pool of the championship event was $151,000 with the buy-in being $1,000. The winner of the tournament was Huhg “Peter” Tran from Stockton, CA, USA. He took home an amount of $56,000.
