Poker Career
In 1977, Fisher started as a Dealer at Foxy's Firehouse in Las Vegas and the sad part is that the Firehouse was grazed to the ground 20 years ago.
Fisher got actively involved in poker when she happened to be at one of the WPT Events. Luckily, she was one of those few people who knew and had knowledge about poker. Initially, the organizers wanted her help only with the flop cam, but later they asked her to help with the statistics also. She was the one who devised the system for doing the whole thing and so was good in keeping immaculate records of the table. The organizers were thrilled and when they realized the importance of the work Fisher was doing, they created a profile for her.
As a statistician, Fisher has lots of work to do contrary to what many people believe. Fisher goes about writing every action that takes place at the table starting right from who raises, who folds, what the exposed cards are to, and almost anything that occurs on the table worth writing down. The interesting thing is that the ever patient Fisher performs this activity at every taping.
