For Kristy, playing and winning money for herself was not all that difficult. She didn’t take much time to establish herself into the game. When she won the ‘Full Tilt Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, she bet some very prominent nameS of the poker circuit. This win at Las Vegas helped her earn $250,000.

Prior to that she won the 2003 World Championship of Online Poker Omaha Hi-Low Event. In another event, she secured 5th in the 2002 World Series of Poker S.H.O.E. event.

The major part of the poker learning for Kristy was through her ex-husband Bill Gazes. She even considers Bill as one of her favorite poker players. Other players, she likes and respects most are Billy Duarte and Daniel Negreanu.

As for Kristy, she has a reason for every player she respects. For Daniel Negreanu, it is because he plays all games well, tournaments as well as cash games. For Billy Duarte, since he taught her the basics regarding the N/L Holdem. For Bill Gazes (her ex-husband) because he is a great all-round player.

Her quirky approach and her sense of humor have always found audiences enthralled at the poker table. These days, Kristy is associated with the Game Show Network (GSN) Poker Royale and the Battle of the Sexes show.

Her Future Plans

Kristy’s future plans may be heart-breaking news for her die hard fans. Although, she has got a great talent for the game. She has expressed her intent to quit from the sport probably in the next few years following a ranch in Maui over the tables in Vegas. No body knows for sure whether it’s going to materialize or not, but in case it happens, Kristy would still manage to be in the news for sure. Well only the time will tell. As of now, there is still some time left before anyone seriously starts pondering over.
