It did not take long for her to get convinced that poker has good money. She started playing poker games, which mostly consisted of 5-card Stud during the time she was not working or her off days. Very soon, she realized that she has a natural flair of playing poker.

Marsha has finally settled in Southern California. She is happily married and lives with her husband. Her husband is also a renowned poker player named, Kenna James. She now passes her time by playing poker on a professional basis. The remaining time is devoted to her five grandchildren.

 

Poker Career

 

Marsha went to Las Vegas in 1980 and her expression was one of amazement when she saw the poker action for the first time. The whole action around poker excited and enthused her so much that she decided to move to Las Vegas.

During her stay in Las Vegas for a year, she started playing poker on a more regular basis. It was also the period during, which she started to concentrate on tournament play with a fair amount of success rate.

Poker Accomplishments

Marsha has participated in both the World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker events. Her total earnings at the poker tournaments are to the tune of more than $400,000 in the last decade.

In the very first World Poker Tour event, Marsha finished in the money stage, which is no mean achievement. Moreover, her career highlight is the 12th place finish at the WSOP event.

Marsha is considered to be one of those lucky and talented players to have had a face off against the might of players such as Doyle Brunson, Amarillo Slim, and Johnny Chan.
