Patti’s history of poker playing is pretty old. Since 1992, she has been actively playing the game of poker and has excelled quite well. To her credit, she has many big wins and earned a name for herself in the who’s who of female poker players.
In the 2005 LA Poker Classic at Los Angeles, she had winnings of $48,655 and grabbed the 2nd place on the 15th of February.
In the same year, she won a total of $1,630 and stood at 12th place in the LA Poker Classic at Los Angeles, $485 Limit Hold'em Shootout.
In 2004 also, her wins were very impressive. In the Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Las Vegas, she managed to secure 8th position with total winnings of $8,682 on 10th December.
Apart from that, she also won $4,928 and stood at 26th place in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Las Vegas on 7th December.
Her other accomplishments also include 3rd place with winnings of $30,000 in the $2,599 No-Limit Hold'em Caribbean Poker Classic at San Jose, Costa Rica on 5th December.
Her Attitude and Ambition
Gallagher knows her abilities well and based on the confidence, she has her in her abilities, aspires to be the first female player ever to win the World Series of Poker Championship. It is yet to be seen if Patti will be able to become the first woman ever to win the World Series of Poker Main Event, but one can be sure that she will give all that she has got to defeat the big boys at this year’s championship game.
Patti’s style of play is very brash and is pretty carefree, which does not go very well with lot of other male players. To Patti’s credit, she does not pay much attention to what they like. Instead, she prefers to focus her time and energy on playing poker of very high standards.
