On the contrary, have you ever had a look at magazine, which publishes beautiful women on the World Poker Tour TV Show, you would have for sure heard about Shana Hiatt. The reality is that unlike professional players, she does not even play poker. Shana, however, is the hostess of the WPT Show and official spokeswoman of the Party Poker.

About Shana Hiatt

 

Her Childhood

Her father was in the Army and as happens in Armed Forces, Shana spent much of her childhood traveling with heR parents. She was barely and became interested in television. She used to spend time by hours watching TV and analyzing both the anchors and the news. She already had that she will become a TV anchor. It was not only TV that fascinated her, but a lot of other things in life also attracted her. She got herself into lacrosse and field hockey during her high school days. She was also only of the most attractive cheerleaders.

As soon as she graduated, Shana enrolled herself in New Jersey's Burlington County College. Thereafter, she started modeling on a part time basis. The talent agent, Ray Manzella spotted her and gave the push required to push her into the limelight, and in a short span of time she was modeling in Milan. She was an excellent dancer. In 1995, she was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic, USA and also featured in many films.

Shana got married in her early 20s to James Van Patten who is incidentally the World Poker Tour host and commentator Vince Van Patten’s brother. She joined the popular television show, after that they both encouraged her to do so.

Hobbies

Shana simply loves resting when she is free. She entertains herself with a jog, some yoga exercises, ride on a bike, walk with her dogs, or by playing softball with her friends. She is still working as a model. She has featured on the cover of several popular magazines including the most famous Muscle Media Magazine and Playboy.

 

Poker Career

 

Her stint with poker started in 2004 when she started as the WPT host. She was more than thrilled to get the job in order to learn more about the game. As a part of her job, she was supposed to travel around the world to give a tour of casinos to viewers and conduct interviews of world-famous poker players.

Her association with the game has made it possible for her to understand the game, but she does not play poker. She simply enjoys traveling to many different and beautiful places including Paris, Aruba, Costa Rica, and the numerous casinos in the United States. Of all the places, she likes Costa Rica, which offers the most diverse scenery of all of the locations rich with rainforests, beautiful waterfalls, and a live volcano. Shana is now the official spokesperson for PartyPoker.com, the world's largest online poker room.

At the Beverly Hills Club, the Grand Havana Room, Shana also hosts a high-stakes celebrity poker match, which is a weekly affair.

Shana does not have any favorite poker players in particular. On asking she says, “I love them all,” she says about the tournament participants.
