Ladies Night is the first ever Womens Poker Tournament to be telecasted. It features 6 of the world's best players battling out for $25,000 seat in the World Poker Tour (WPT) 8.6 million dollar Championship. This was initially started by attorney and television producer, Steven Lipscomb who now is the CEO of the WPT Enterprises (WPTE).

When it comes to Queen of Hearts probably, there isn’t anyone to whom this title fits better. It is none other than Mary Jones Meyer. She deserves this honor for obvious reasons. The Ladies NLH Event has been wrapped, which literally turned out to be by far one of the best and most exciting events of the year at WSOP.

There was a jam packed crowd. There was also a buzz in the crowd, full of energy. They have witnessed a good play. The entertainment was to the max. Meyer who eventually emerged as a winner amongst the 1000 contestants took home the bracelet.

She was guided by her husband in several aspects including the approach and also in concentration. Meyer with the assistance of husband was able to stay focused on the game. She kept herself cool throughout the game, stayed focused, and was successful. She showed a lot of sportive spirit by congratulating all the eliminated players and beamed like a kid in a candy store when she realized she'd won it all.
