The Ultimate Poker Challenge for Women

The Ultimate Poker Challenge has revealed that it has joined hands with Women Poker Player Magazine in an effort to add women's event to its available list of tournaments. This Women's Ultimate Poker Challenge would commence on February 9, 2007 with the final table being telecasted on February 10, 2006. The buy-in is $200 + 35.

Annie Duke is perhaps the highest money winner of all-time in womens at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). In fact, she has finished 10th at the World Series of Poker when she was carrying (8th month). Also in the year 1999 and 2003, she finished 2nd at the WSOP Limit Hold'em Tournament.

Annie Duke had a very successful academic career before becoming one of the top poker players in the world. She was a student of Columbia University where she studied Psychology and English.
