About Him
Born on November 18, 1967 in Pennsylvania, Burt Boutin moved to Colorado instead of going to the college after his high school studies. He moved to Colorado to become a stock broker. He became versatile with regards to return on investment and moved to Las Vegas in 1989 to resume his poker career.
Six years later, Boutin was very enthusiastic about poker and hence got overwhelmed with the industry, and entered the poker room. He felt that he found lot of satisfaction in the poker industry in comparison to that of continuously -changing stock market. He is now able to think effectively and his and decision-making skills have also gone up considerably in this lucrative venture.
Boutin, till now has won 2 World Series of Poker bracelets. In addition, he also won the 2001 $2,000 buy-in pot-limit event and the 2007 $5,000 rebuy pot-limit Omaha event.
He currently holds 26 major cashes and a close to $2 million in terms of career prize money.
