About Him

Born on November 18, 1967 in Pennsylvania, Burt Boutin moved to Colorado instead of going to the college after his high school studies. He moved to Colorado to become a stock broker. He became versatile with regards to return on investment and moved to Las Vegas in 1989 to resume his poker career.

Six years later, Boutin was very enthusiastic about poker and hence got overwhelmed with the industry, and entered the poker room. He felt that he found lot of satisfaction in the poker industry in comparison to that of continuously -changing stock market. He is now able to think effectively and his and decision-making skills have also gone up considerably in this lucrative venture.

Boutin, till now has won 2 World Series of Poker bracelets. In addition, he also won the 2001 $2,000 buy-in pot-limit event and the 2007 $5,000 rebuy pot-limit Omaha event. He currently holds 26 major cashes and a close to $2 million in terms of career prize money.

Poker Career:

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Burt Boutin can be reckoned as a man who always is concerned about the “return on investment.” His interest on poker prompted him to move to Las Vegas to become a poker pro. Six years later, Boutin finally entered the poker scene has made a mark for himself.

Some of his major winnings include winning his first bracelet in 2001 World Series of Poker series, 2nd place finish at the 2006 World Poker Tour event at Mandalay Bay, No.2 in the 2001 The Four Queens Poker Classic, event #12 - Pot Limit Hold'em, 4th in 2005 Mirage Poker Showdown / WPT Event Season 4, Pot Limit Hold'em etc. In addition, he also has cashed in 7 WSOP events, 2 WSOP bracelets.
