Poker Career
James took his first big stride in poker way back in 1991, and made his poker debut. During those times, the World Series of Poker was still possessed by Binion family, part of the Horseshoe casino in Las Vegas. It is at this place where all started inn 1970. In 1990’s the World Series of Poker was just beginning to gain popularity through telecasting in ESPN, etc. James came close to winning gold, but just couldn’t seek through. As a result, he finished at No.2, in the Limit 7-Card Stud Hi-Lo game, and took home a nice consolation prize earning $53,100.
