Michael Keiner is regarded as one of the game’s true gentlemen. He as been around the European circuit for quite some time and has an impressive tournament record and also being a strong cash player.

Keiner is known for taking risks, but he is every successful with his stock investments during the 1990s. However, he openly addressed the media that he “lost millions” in the stock market.

Poker Career:

Michael Keiner is a 48 year old professional poker player from Germany. Keiner was a medical doctor, specialized in cosmetic surgery before becoming a professional poker player

He played a brilliant captain's role in the inaugural Poker Nations Cup. He bought the underdogs German team close to winning in what would have been a superb victory.

Keiner emerged victorious at 7 major poker tournaments in Europe before he won his 1st Bracelet at the WSOP 2007 which is his first poker tournament win in the U.S. This victory takes his totally tally to 5 World Series of Poker finishes since 2000.Keiner was also incidentally the 3rd gold bracelet winner from Germany in the history of WSOP.
