Barely one year into the poker arena and Sally Boyer has already made her mark with a famous win in the world’s largest ladies’ poker tournament ever. Her boyfriend encouraged her to play poker and she did that mostly online. She also discovered a few tips and poker strategies when she joined the World Series of Poker Academy. Now, she’s the new poker queen and created history.

She said “I attended the WSOP poker camp (a few days ago) which was very helpful to me,” said Boyer in a post-tournament interview. “You dream about winning, but to sit here and actually become the world champion is just more than I could have imagined. I wonder when I am going to wake up.” She further said that, it was just this weekend, when she started to change her strategies and it worked.
