Mike Matusow

There were quite a few interesting hands at WSOP 2006. It was full of action and entertainment to the max. The spectators have thoroughly enjoyed the show. Take a look at some of the interesting hands that were played at the WSOP 2006.

Mike Matusow

Mike started with:10 Heart 9 Spade
and then he called. Incidentally, William Dick also made the call 8 Diamond 6 Diamond
... Michael Landau completed his small blind holding: 9 Diamond 6 Spade

... and Nick Grundy checked from the big blind with: 7 Club 5 Heart

The flop showed :9 Club 2 Heart 3 Heart

Generally, reckoned a good flop with a lot of players since one or the other would be possessing overcards. However, certainly not this time around. Landau made a sincere effort and bet $250, sending strong signals for Grundy to fold. Soon Matusow again raised to $550 forcing Dick to go to the fold version. Landau called and it was onto the turn.

The turn was: 3 Heart

Landau glanced at his cards and then Mike said "I'm going to check for a heart too," and took a look at his cards and then checked. When the river came:3 Heart

Landau said "I don't have a heart," and checked to Mike. Mike said "I probably don't have either one, but I'm going to represent one." He then bet $500 prompting Landau to fold and took yet another pot.
