WSOP 2004 - History and Winner Details

A full-house prevailed at the WSOP 2004 Final Table. At this time, the battle was between Greg Raymer and David Williams. Raymer got a quick pair of 8s, but Williams had an AHeart 4Spade, so he bet $300,000. Then Raymer called. This was when the flop was showing 4Diamond 2Diamond 5Spade. Raymer had a tough pair, but Williams hurried and bet $500.000. Greg again raised, but this time it was Williams who called. The turn came as 2Heart. Raymer bet $2,500,000 with his 2 pair and declared a bet of $2,500,000, as he thought to have better hand. Williams called without hesitation. After they showed their hands, Raymer left the table being the WSOP 2004 Champion with a prize of $5,000,000.
